Put a smile on your face!

One of summertime’s recurring constants must be wedding season, and it epitomises the celebration of love, life, laughter and of course, what to wear!

 And it’s especially fun when one of your most dandy clients wants to surprise their family. Having known this gentleman for many years, it’s simply been a hoot to evolve ideas and design one-off fabrics to wow his friends and family. With a renowned reputation for daringly bright shirts, jackets and suits with fearless embrace of colours and patterns, it’s all about the next thing every time! And Boy, does it make me smile when I see his outfit come to life at our first fitting. With enthusiastic encouragement from his beloved, I am routinely left with a challenging brief with instructions for themes to create the fabric.

The joys of bespoke…

On this occasion the backdrop was the stunning Perugia in Italy, for which there was a very strict colour palette requested by the soon to be Mr & Mrs - cream and pink. No lunacy or craziness and coordination is paramount…what better way to capture the romance and elegance – dreamy.

For daywear, we made a stunning @LoroPiana crisp, cream linen suit, with a reversible jacket and waistcoat (natch!) for nighttime. It’s a delight to have such a lovely, loyal client who shuns the very idea of boundaries. A stroke of genius met with rapturous applause and…
